Why does Nod need Location?
So you only see people who are actually near you. Location is used to match Nods in your area — not to put you on a public map. Your exact location isn’t shared with other users.
Why does Nod need Bluetooth?
Bluetooth helps confirm you’re in the same place when you send or connect. That’s how Nod stays about real, nearby people — not random chats from anywhere.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Security → Delete Account. That removes your profile, Nods, chats, and photos. See our Privacy Policy for what we keep for safety.
Someone made me uncomfortable. What should I do?
You can report or block them from a chat or a Nod. For urgent safety concerns, email support@gonod.app with the subject “Safety report.” In an emergency, contact local authorities.
I’m not seeing anyone nearby
Make sure Location is on, you’re online, and you’ve refreshed Nearby. Nearby only shows people with an active Nod close to you — if no one has posted yet, the list will be empty.
